Mounted prints available

I have recently had a selection of 24 images printed and mounted for display and sale, they had their first outing at the WWT Llanelli where they were displayed during April.

The prints are fine art giclee prints on Hahnemuhle cotton rag paper, which have been properly hinged to textured white conservation grade mounts and backings, and fit a 30x40cm frame. These are quality prints, and I am very pleased with how they have turned out. They are priced at £25, which includes free UK delivery. I have also decided to gift 10% of profits to Save the Albatross campaign my way of giving something back to these beautiful birds I have been fortunate to photograph. Other sizes and print options available, e.g. canvas, acrylic, etc. and I can arrange for framing should you wish (cost extra). Follow me on facebook or twitter (follow buttons in the sidebar) or email me info@amwphotos.co.uk for information or with questions, thank you

360 panorama

I’ve been looking at changing the way my 360 panorama posts display when you click on their link. This is the new style example using the 360 from the top of Duse as an example. Rather than opening as a separate new tab they will open in the same tab, in a small section of my website, allowing easy access to the menu and other links. You can still zoom in and out, and view fullscreen too. I will be adding more like this, especially some recent creations from the Isles of Scilly.

New photos from the Isles of Scilly

I’ve finally made some time to upload a few photos from here on the Isles of Scilly. I’m staying on the Island of St. Agnes working as a volunteer on the Seabird Recovery Project. I have been having a play with a very dark ND filter, so that I can get some photos of water movement, it can be interesting the variability between shots of the different waves and flows of water. I also popped out to do some star photography, but there were clouds blowing through and a really bright moon, so I changed my plans slightly and made use of the moving clouds instead. It almost looks like daytime! Hopefully you’ll enjoy the photos.

Website fixed

I was showing a colleague my website a couple of days ago, and the images weren’t displaying properly, the wrong size, and the wrong number per page too. Anyway, I’ve tracked down the problem, and it’s back to how I want it.

More photos to appear soon from the Isles of Scilly where I am working as a volunteer on the Isles of Scilly Seabird Recovery Project please have a look at their website to see what’s happening with this brilliant project.
